Ways Rihanna Is Better Than Beyonce..(Do You Think So?)

If you are a member of the Beyhive, chances are you are ready to come at me with bee stings..Hold it! Rihanna and Beyonce’s purported beef goes way back and there seems to be a secret battle for supremacy.

This is not a hate post, it does not take away the fact that Beyonce is a legend and extraordinarily talented ..It is a fan post from a die-hard RihNavy. Read reasons below

Rihanna is herself -Rihanna is unapologetically real. The Bajan singer has proved this time without number. She does what she wants, when she wants and how she wants .This is something Beyonce would need more effort at.Beyonce seems and acts more carefully, programmed and seems to dissect every step she takes. With Beyonce, you know what to expect. With Rihanna, you are always on the edge . With Rihanna, it’s No New friends -Rihanna is one of the very few celebrities who has stuck to her day one friends. I mean, childhood friends like her famed bff Mellissa Forde.

Rihanna has famously said once she clinched her record deal, she took her friends to America with her .With Beyonce, well, let’s just say we don’t know who are childhood friends are ..Kelly Rowland doesn’t qualify …nor does Gyweneth Paltrow .

3: Rihanna replies her fans– Clap back, Dms, Rihanna has done it all ..Flash back to her recent comment on a fan’s page about not getting a grammy nomination for album of the year like Beyonce,Riri entered the comment section to set the record straight …She has replied fans bashing her, those asking her out to prom and those simply complimenting her.

Beyonce? Waiting for a comment or acknowledgment from her is like looking for a needle in a hay stack .Beyonce never responds, reacts or comments on anything involving her …..

4: Rihanna sets trends– Do we need to emphazise this fact? Beyonce may beat Rihanna vocally but when it comes to fashion, Rihanna reigns supreme.. Evidence? Well, let;’s just say Rihann won the Fashion Icon award two years before Beyonce.

Comedian Bovi Shares A Hilarious Caption!

Ace comedian Bovi took to Instagram to share a makeup free photo of his wife, Kris alongside a hilarious caption.

He wrote

True beauty lies within. The other true beauty lies without makeup  I just remembered how I went to look for one of the finest girls in my class back in Uni. I got to her front door which was ajar. The moment she heard my voice, she cried out with horror “bovi hold on”.

My first thoughts were that she wasn’t robed and in my usual mischievous antics, I went in claiming I was pressed. “I wan piss abeg”. Turns out she wasn’t N@kkd. But her face was N@kkd. “Jesox”! She had no eyebrows. Pure desert. I asked her why she cut off her brows and she said it doesn’t grow well so she shaves it all off all the time. I was still dazed. No wonder they say if you want to marry a beautiful woman, go to the stream in the morning; when they’re having morning devotion with nature.

Now my biggest shock was that this classmate of mine was the biggest critic/gossip/ analyst we had especially when it came to judging people’s looks. My lesson was learned that day- everybody get their mouth. How they use it isn’t your problem. Because even the one with an opinion may be a case study of their own opinion in the eyes of others.  #wcw .

Shoutout to all the men who dated the same woman twice but didn’t know simply because the women changed their makeup!!! #witness

Igbo traders cry out over eviction at Alaba International market.

Igbo Traders in Alaba International Market, under the aegis of New Site Shopping Mall and Warehouse Section, have cried out over the alleged illegal eviction from a property under litigation. The traders, in a petition by their chairman, Eze Ezebuadi and Secretary, Ikechukwu Umeuhabike, called on the Inspector General of the Police, Mr. Idris Ibrahim to give them protection over the use of armed thugs and suspected members of the Oodua Peoples Congress, OPC, to violently chase them away from the property, the subject matter of a suit pending before a Lagos High Court, sitting in Badagry. In the petition, the traders claimed that they purchased the land, 48 plots at Alaba International Market Annex, Alaba-Rago, Ojo, sometime in 2008, from the original owners, Omo Eleduwa family of Kemberi and Adetona Cambell family. According to the petitioners, they have been using the parcel of land as park, where their containers are discharged and goods sold to the customers until 2010, when one Almotson Nigeria Limited, led by one Akande surfaced and claimed that the state government gave them Certificate of Occupancy, C of O, in respect of the same land. “In November 2015, Amotson Nigeria Limited filled a law suit at the state High Court sitting in Badagry, claiming that we the traders trespassed on the land. On June 13, 2016, the trial judge, Justice Bola Okikiolu-Ighile refused the application of injection sought by the claimant and ordered accelerated hearing of the matter..” The aggrieved traders had earlier, through their counsel Mr. Toyin Keshinro, in a pre-action notice sent to the state Attorney General, Mr. Kazeem Adeniji complained how the officials of the state Ministry of Environment at the instance of Almotson Nigeria Limited, invaded the property and carried out the illegal demolition of the property, in flagrant disobedience to the court order that refused to restain the traders from the property. Meanwhile, the Inspector General of Police has directed the Assistant Inspector General of Police in-Charge of Zone 2 to carry out a thorough investigation of the complaints of the traders to avert bloodshed and potential clash between Igbo and Yoruba traders in the market.

Businesses You Can Engage In ,This Year 2017.

This is a good list of possible businesses Nigerian entrepreneurs could delve into in the promising year of 2017 as the country moves for the self-sustainability of the local economy.

Nigerian business mogul, Aliko Dangote

Nigerians enter 2017 today with high expectations, resolutions and top targets. No one contemplates repeating the mistakes and missteps of 2016, which was full of confusion and indecision.

The out-gone year was, perhaps, the most challenging period in the history of Nigerian businesses because it was characterised by policy flip-flops and poor market cohesion.

In spite of 2016 challenges, one word stands tall in 2017: Opportunity.

This year, like other years gone by, presents a number of opportunities as well as challenges. Some businesses are bound to struggle while others will thrive. Some might die while many would still be birthed. However, Nigerians are encouraged to tap into a number of opportunities that abound locally. Importation is highly discouraged this year owing to the persisting dollar crunch and the possibility that the present administration will put more policies in place to discourage dollar outflows and import.

Donald Todrin, CEO of Second Wind Consultants, a debt workout and turnaround consultant firm in the United States, said in a period of recession many people, especially business owners, are bound to panic.

“But there’s an alternative to panicking. We are confronting change, and change is an opportunity for advances. Now you have the choice to take advantage of change or allow yourself to be buried by it,” Todrin said. In its characteristic manner, therefore, BDSUNDAY has sought out profitable and sustainable businesses Nigerians can do this year.

Yoghurt production

First on the list of what Nigerians can do this year is yoghurt production. Yoghurt production is a neglected area, but statistics show that 98 percent of Nigeria’s dairy needs, including milk, are imported into Nigeria.

According to Aliko Dangote, president of Dangote Group, who is also a dairy maker, only 2 percent of the country’s dairy needs are met by local companies. Official data show that $1 million worth of milk is imported into the country every day. With dollar scarcity and roadblocks to importation in the country, yoghurt production is a sure bet.

Yoghurt is a healthy source of milk, and capacity to produce a low-sugar brand for the aged and diabetic as well as a moderately sugar type for other classes is an advantage.

Producing yoghurt could cost between N2 million and N10 million, depending on the type of equipment used and their sources. Yoghurt production requires major machinery such as motorised stainless steel mixer, incubator, pasteuriser, filling machine, UV Lamp, transfer pumps, PH Meter, shrink wrapper and weighing machine. Some of the machines are imported into the country, but many of them are fabricated locally by the Federal Institute of Industrial Research Oshodi in Lagos or Projects Development Institute Enugu (PRODA). Local fabricators can also help.

According to FIIRO, return on investment is 46.1 percent, while return on equity can go as high as 115 percent. Payback period is 34 months and 19 days, while break-even point is 51.8 percent.

Cashew processing

Next on the list is cashew processing. If you do not have a cassava farm, get one. However, you can liaise with a cashew farmer who will supply you with raw cashew nuts for onward processing. Export of cashew is now one big business, as Vietnam, world largest cashew exporter, is currently experiencing its worst drought in a century.

Cashew sells like cakes in the United States, India, Spain and many parts of Europe. Apart from helping to maintain a healthy heart and bones, cashew also helps in weight loss.

Cashew nuts are used in producing chemicals, paints, varnishes, insecticides and fungicides, electrical conductress, and several types of oil.

Cashew exporters in Nigeria made $250 million in 2015 and $300 million in 2016, according to Tola Faseru, president, National Cashew Association of Nigeria (NCAN), who disclosed this to journalists at the Annual Cashew Logistics meeting held in Lagos recently.

If you wish to process for the local or international market, then be ready to procure machines such as boiler, sheller or cracker, dryer, and packaging machine. Two good things about cashew are that its return on investment is as high as 55 percent and its payback time is just 12 months, say experts.

Piggery

Another business to watch in 2017 is piggery. Experts believe Nigerians are not tapping into the opportunity in this area because of ignorance and poor perception about pigs.

Apart from a breeding ground, which should be large enough, it is easy to start a piggery with N500,000 to N1 million. To start a piggery, you need healthy piglets, standard pens, quality feed and three to six workers, depending on the number of piglets available.

The biggest thing about pigs is that they reproduce in large numbers. Pigs can go between N15,000 and N40,000 depending on their size and weight, and one pig can easily reproduce up to 15 to 20 piglets. This is its biggest advantage. Secondly, pigs can survive in any environment.

Pigs are in high demand in China, Japan, India, Mexico, Canada and many parts of Asia. In 2015, United States exported pork (pig meat) worth $4 billion; Germany $4 billion; Spain $3 billion, among others.

Adhesive production

Apart from pork, Nigeria is still waiting for someone that will produce adhesives used by leather shoe and bag manufacturers. Aba, located in Abia State, has between 50,000 and 100,000 shoe, bag and trunk makers. This does not include hundreds of thousands of shoe-makers in Lagos, Kano, Kaduna and Onitsha. Many of these shoe-makers run to China to buy adhesives because there is yet no known company that produces good adhesives to satisfy them right now.

Incidentally, research shows that adhesives can be produced from cassava (starch), which Nigeria happens to be the world’s biggest producer. Chinese adhesives are not good enough when compared with Dutch, Spanish or Italian, shoe-makers told BDSUNDAY. Currently, these shoe-makers cannot even find dollars to import these adhesives, showing that there is a huge potential for someone producing adhesives in the country.

Artisanship

Nigerian middle and the rich classes are looking for committed artisans and construction workers. Many of the local artisans are considered not serious enough and are accused of being unprofessional in their conduct. This pushes many Nigerian middle and rich class individuals, including construction companies, into Ghana, Togo, Cameroon, and other neighbours to get serious and committed staff when building their houses.

What this means is that serious-minded Nigerians can go into this business as consultants, who will now search out committed Nigerians in rural areas to take these jobs. This is money-spinning in many African countries and even Europe and is an opportunity here, given the attitude of Nigerian artisans.

On the other hand, artisans that are committed to their work are likely to have more people knocking on their doors this year, according to Ojere Imere, a construction expert.

“This is the reality of the situation. It’s not just in construction. It’s also found in the textile and fashion industry, in the electrical and electronics,” said Imere in a telephone interview.

Fruit juice production

The fruit juice production is a honey pot. Fruit juice is made from orange, pineapple, guava, mango, as well as additives such as sodium benzoate, sweeteners, and citric acid, among others.

The rule set by Nigerian authorities is that a fruit juice should contain 40 percent of natural fruit juice. This means that if you are producing pineapple juice, ensure it contains 40 percent of natural pineapple.

The Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN) estimates that Nigeria imports N165 billion worth of fruit juice every year.

In a paper presented at a workshop organised by the Raw Materials Research and Development Council (RMRDC) in Owerri in April 2016, Frank Jacobs, president of MAN, said in spite of the high rate of fruit production and a thriving juice market, the country imported fruits concentrates.

Apart from production site and generating plant, someone with N3 million to N10 million can start a small-scale fruit juice company, depending on the litres that will be produced, according to feasibility studies.

Machinery needed to start includes juice extractor, homogeniser, pasteuriser, hydrolyser, filling machine and holding tank.

One big bang about fruit juice is that if you cannot set up a production plant, you can get involved in the value chain by supplying oranges, pineapples, guava and other fruit to companies like Chi Limited and Coca-Cola, among others.

Many fruit juice makers in Nigeria go to the extent of importing fruit to satisfy demand for their products. Planting oranges, guava and pineapples is the best bet in this case, say experts.

See the plastic rice that is being sold in Nigerian markets due to recession!

Nigerians are responding in perse ways to the economic recession. We need not remind you that times are tough and things are hard in our society now.

Plastic rice is a product that is made of synthetic resins

Families find it hard to eat properly and those who do spend most of their savings on food items. The rich are angry with the economic meltdown while the poor are crying out for help daily.

The exchange rate has affected most things as the prices of the cheapest materials in the market have doubled. As if that is not enough, inferior products have taken over the markets as some greedy Nigerians want to make as much as they can while selling substandard products.

It is disheartening that some people are taking advantage of the situation of things in the society and are cheating innocent Nigerians in the process. Rice is a staple food in Nigeria with almost every family eating this food once or twice daily. This has led some unknown group of people to start selling and distributing plastic rice.

Plastic rice is rice that is made of synthetic resins. In making this plastic starch, potato starch is mixed with plastic and then steamed with rice flavour. The plastic rice is being mixed with good rice in order not to make people suspicious.

In order to test the kind of rice you are buying from the market, you can perform three basic tests on the rice to know if it is plastic rice. The simplest test is to take a handful of the grains of rice and put it in a cup or bowl of water. If the grains sink, it is good rice. However, if the grains float, then there is every likelihood of the rice being made of plastic.

READ  #ThickChallenge #ThickAsHellChallenge: See 16 photos of girls with big b@.0bs and bott (Photos)

Another way of testing to know the authenticity of the rice product being sold in the market is by setting fire to a handful of the grains. If the rice smells like plastic, then you do not need any proof that you have bought plastic rice from the market.

You can also test for plastic rice by grinding the rice with mortar and pestle. The powder gotten from this action should be white. But if it is artificial rice, there may be yellow discoloration in product.

Eating plastic rice is dangerous as it has the potential to cut short your lives. The best thing to do is to avoid eating this rice and create awareness

Wole Soyinka Fulfils His Words, Leaves America!

Wole Soyinka Fulfils His Words, Leaves America

Nigerian Nobel prize-winning author Wole Soyinka said Thursday he has fulfilled his pledge to throw away his US residency green card and leave the country if Donald Trump won the presidential election.

Shortly before the vote, Soyinka had vowed to give up his permanent US residency over a Trump victory to protest against the Republican billionaire’s campaign promises to get tough on immigration.

“I have already done it, I have disengaged (from the United States). I have done what I said I would do,” the 82-year-old told AFP on the sidelines of an education conference at the University of Johannesburg.

“I had a horror of what is to come with Trump… I threw away the (green) card, and I have relocated, and I’m back to where I have always been” — meaning his homeland Nigeria.

The prolific playwright, novelist and poet won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1986 and has been a regular teacher at US universities including Harvard, Cornell and Yale.

At the same time he said he would not discourage others from applying for a green card. “It’s useful in many ways. I wouldn’t for one single moment discourage any Nigerians or anybody from acquiring a green card… but I have had enough of it,” he said.

Stroke:Early identification of symptoms prevents loss of life – expert

A cardiologist, Dr Afolabi Akinkunmi, on Sunday in Lagos said that early identification of risk factors of stroke remained the best way of preventing the life threatening illness. Akinkunmi, President, Association of Residents Doctors (ARD), Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), Idi-Araba, explained that stroke was also known as a cerebrovascular accident. According to him, the risk factors of stroke include high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, smoking as well as advancement in age and heart valve disease. He said: “Stroke occurs when a part of the brain loses its blood supply to a part of the body; blood is deprived of that area and brain cells control stops working. “A stroke is a medical emergency which can happen to anyone; however, the older you are, the higher the risk and stroke can lead to death or permanent disability. “When the signs of stroke appear, time is of the essence to diagnose it because the longer a stroke remains unrecognised and un-treated, the longer brain cells are deprived of oxygen-rich blood. “As such, it is important to identify the signs and risk factors, in order to prevent stroke.’’ On the symptoms of stroke, the cardiologist said there may be no warning signs of a stroke until it occurs. “That is why high blood pressure, one of the risk factors for stroke, is called the silent killer. “Other symptoms like speech, vision, balance, and coordination loss, helps the health care professionals locate the part of the brain that has stopped working,’’ he said. According to him, strokes are also often described based on the function of the body that is lost, as well as by the area of the brain that is affected. The cardiologist also spoke on the most common treatment to administer on a stroke patient. “Drug therapy with blood thinners, airways breathing and circulation to make the patient breathe are recommended. “Also, ensuring that the patient gets adequate blood pressure is a common treatment for someone that has stroke,’’ he said.

Prostitute Stabs Man Who Tried To Pay For Sex With Boiled Egg !

A prostitute in Zimbabwe beat a punter around the head with a beer bottle after he offered to pay for sex with a boiled egg, the DailyMail UK has reported.

Moses Mushonga, 28, walked up to the young lady of the night in the town of Mvurwi in Mashonaland province.

Firstly he manhandled her, leaning into her bra and touching her Bosom .

This did not endear him to the 23-year-old, called Chipo, but to add insult to injury he then tried to haggle with his only asset.

Mushonga told her he had just spent his last bit of money on buying two boiled eggs, which cost 0.25 Zimbabwe dollars, the equivalent of less than a penny or a cent.

Sadly he had already eaten one too.

Moses Mushonga was left bloodied and bruised (pictured, left) after he disrespected the woman by touching her Bosom  (right) and then offering to pay for sex with a boiled egg
Insulted by his attitude, Chipo flew into a rage, hiting hit him with the beer bottle, and then punched him in the face, before knocking him out.

When he came round Mushonga was bleeding heavily from his head.

He told local media: ‘She could have just said no.’

Chipo, who was not charged by police, said she simply felt he needed to be taught a lesson about respect.

Earlier this year the Weekend Post newspaper in the capital, Harare, reported that the economy was so bad that sex workers had reduced their prices to 0.8 Zimbabwe dollars – equivalent to half a loaf of bread.

But they clearly draw the line at a boiled egg.

Bobrisky doesn't understand Igbo or Hausa language. Just look at how Nedu Wazobia aka Sister Nkechi finished the poor guy by mocking him using the languages, called him useless and still lied to Bobrisky that he was praising his flawless skin. Very hilarious video.
