Former President places order for his ‘Made in Aba’ shoes

Wow, Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has made an order for made-in-Aba shoes — wouldn’t you place yours?

He made the order at the 2016 edition of the Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship Forum, which held in Lagos, on Saturday.

A panelist at the forum, Obasnajo told Okezie Ikpeazu, governor of Abia state and ‘chief marketing officer of made-in-Aba products’, to send the shoes to him.

He also commended the governor for his effort in developing the business architecture of Aba.

“Governor, I listened to you and I commend you for what you’re doing in Abia. Please keep doing what you’ve told us you’re doing,” he said.

“So, Governor Abia, you have to send a pair of the shoes to me, I use size 42.”

On his part, Ikpeazu said he was proud of the exploits of the commercial city.

He disclosed that a firm, which had received an order to supply about 50,000 military boots, was currently in Aba where the production is in progress.

“I am happy to announce here that Aba which is the commercial nerve centre of the Abia state and Old Eastern Region of Nigeria, is also the SME capital of Nigeria, where young people are in the business of making shoes, bags and clothes, including the one I am wearing,” he said.

“Let me also announce here that a private firm that has an order to supply 50,000 military boots is currently in Aba, where our shoemakers are in production for the firm.”

Ladies: For those who wish their mother-in-law death!

I often hear some ladies praytheir mother-in-law or mother-in-law to-be should just die even before she is being legally married into the house.

Yes, i understand the fact that mother-in-laws are often the toughest rival to any woman due to the fact that they will be over protective of their child because women knows themselves, they know what they are capable of doing to their husband.

She will not want any woman from another home to come from no where to change the face of what she has built and even still building.

Because of many stories of mother-in-laws you have heard or your current experience, you then think your own will also be like that or your mother-in-law will always be like that forgetting humans are never the same and change is constant.

If humans were the same then you will also be like that to your son-in-law.

You are wishing them death forgetting the pains, stress, hardship, labour they went through, not just on the day of delivery but the ones done to get him to the point of you finding him attractive and man enough for you.

One thing i will love you to about think about is, will you be happy if another lady that is to be the woman of your brother pray such prayer towards your mother? If yes, you can continue.

Another thing is that, if you pray to have female children all through or you don't want any child whatsoever you are free, but if you will have a male child, will you be happy if your son's wife-to-be prays for your death before your son marries her?

Oh! You are thinking of just today not giving regards to the future?

Good for you, know that you will only enjoy the reward of your prayer only if she dies according to your prayer, if and only if she is not also begging God to dissolve the relationship with his son and any woman that may want to cause separation between her and her son or her children whatever the case may be.

She is never your rival until you start seeing her as one.

Yes, some women are bad, they make some ladies go through hell if they are lucky to be a mother-in-law, but why can't you pray instead for a mother-in-law that will love you like her daughter and not wife? Why not just pray for a change of heart if you are experiencing a tough moment with her already? Why not wish for the mother-in-law that will guide you to a successful relationship even before she departs from world?

If you can wish for evil to come to past not minding the emptiness this will cause in the life of the person you claim to love, then there is large possibility for you to pray for the positive one to also come to reality.

It is the wish of every good mother to reap the fruit of her labour. If your prayer is against that wish and if by chance it comes to reality you have just thrown a stone which will wait for you miles away.

Man Treks From Lagos To Kaduna To Prove His Love For Lady Who Has Rejected Him For 6 Years.

A 26-year-old man, Tunde Agbaje, has reportedly trekked from the Ketu area of Lagos State to Zaria in Kaduna State.

Agbaje, who is alleged to be a cousin of a former Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, gubernatorial candidate in Lagos State, Jimi Agbaje, went on the adventure to prove his love for a lady, Sharon Donald.

Punch reports that the 26-year-old Donald is the daughter of a former governor of a state in the South-South and had recently travelled to New York, United States of America.

It was learnt that Agbaje and Donald had met in Ikoyi, Lagos State, and had been friends for the past six years, but she had severally rejected his marriage proposal.

Agbaje said he decided to trek to Zaria to prove his love for Donald, adding that he was on the road for 19 days.

The Lagos State indigene was reportedly received on Friday, October 21, by the Chief Security Officer of the Ahmadu Bello University, Col J.K. Tukur; and the protocol office of the Emir of Zaria.

He was later taken to a hospital where he was reportedly treated for the injuries he sustained during the trek, which was monitored by a GPS tracker.

Narrating how he met Donald, Agbaje said, “I was with my friends sometime in 2010 and while we were discussing about ladies, I said I wished God would just show me my wife anytime soon.

“About five minutes later, we were hungry and I went to get food on Awolowo Road. It was my first day at that eatery. I was waiting to be served when she walked in. Coincidentally, that day was also her first day there. I observed that there was a love image at the back of the trousers she put on.

“She approached me and asked what she could buy and I advised her. We later exchanged contacts and became friends. That was how my love for her started growing. We met several times afterwards.”

Agbaje said some months later, he decided to open up on his feelings for Donald, but she turned him down.

He said he persisted, adding that when Donald didn’t bulge, he decided to do “what no man can do for her.”

“I chose to trek to Zaria because her parents dated for six years in ABU, Zaria, before they got married. I didn’t let my parents know and to ensure I was not disturbed, I changed my SIM card. I took a tracker along with me to monitor my movements. I never took a bus at any time. It was a tough task and I even collapsed some of the times. I took off from Ketu on October 2 and arrived in Zaria on Thursday, October 20, around 4.15pm.

“I have no regret for what I have done. I have proved my love for her, even though she didn’t reciprocate my feeling. I believe even if she gets married to another person, nobody will ever be able to do what I did for her,” Agbaje added.

CSO of ABU, Tukur, called Donald to ask if she was aware of Agbaje’s adventure, which she acknowledged.

She, however, didn’t state if she would accept his proposal.

Reacting, however, Donald said she knew Agbaje was embarking on the trek, adding that she warned him against it.

She said, “Tunde (Agbaje) has been harassing and stalking me for the past six years and as far as I am concerned, this is just a new escapade in a series of his harassment.

“I met Tunde at a church when I was living in Lagos and we were both part of the youth ministry. He never had a friendship, let alone a relationship, with me. I was in a music group and some of the youths had my phone number, including him.

“He later found out where I lived and came to my house. My mum warned him to leave me alone, but he refused. ‎

“I changed my phone number and moved to the US, but I don’t know how he got my contact. I have stopped picking calls from Nigeria because of him.

“He later called me and said he was going to trek to prove his love for me in a non-violent way and I told him not to do it because he could die. I said that not because I cared, but just for Christian charity. This guy is mentally unstable, because how can you still be stalking a woman who has turned you down for six years?”

Tiwa Savage signals amendment with hubby

About six months after her marital squabble,it appears talented minstrel, Tiwa Savage, is ready to mend fences with her estranged hubby, Tunji Balogun aka Tee Billz.

According to sources close to the singer, her body language indicates that she’s ready to reconcile with her baby’s daddy. Already, there have been meetings between both families aimed at a peaceful reconciliation, Vanguard reports.

Tiwa is also said to have been meeting with older couples and counsellors who have been advising her to give her marriage another chance in respect of the ‘for better, for worse’ vows she took at the altar.

Our source who commented under the condition of anonymity stated that,

“You can take my word for it that a reconciliation is in the offing between Tiwa and Teebillz. She has told people close to her that she misses Tunji, and she wants him back in her life. Also, as their son, Jamal (Jam Jam) is growing older, Tiwa wants to ensure that he has a father figure around.”

Speaking further, the source said,

“Of course, she has also given a condition that Teebillz gets help so that all the issues that led to his public meltdown will not happen again.”

However, there are also reports that Tiwa’s mom was badly hurt by the negative things Teebillz said about her on Instagram, but she’s ready to forgive and forget all because all she really wants is her daughter’s happiness.

As a pointer to the fact that Tiwa is ready to accommodate her husband, she paused her performance last Sunday at the Three Thrones concert which held at the Eko Hotel and Suites, to seek for marital advice from ‘veteran’ singing couple, Tunde and Wunmi Obe (TWO).

“You’ve been married for so long, and you’re also in the limelight; how have you managed to keep your relationship intact for all these years? There’s a lot of pressure on young couples and I’m very jealous of you,” Tiwa said right on stage.

The elderly couple responded by telling her that it is imperative to ‘marry the man you love, communication, the only third party in your marriage should be God.’

Meanwhile, Teebillz’s whereabouts is been jealously guarded like a high-value painting at a museum. His known friends in the entertainment industry have studiously maintained sealed lips in response to inquiries about where their friend is.

But it was gathered that Teebillz is presently not in Nigeria, as he travelled out shortly after the couple’s fight in April. But the good news is that the hermit guy has reopened his Instagram page which he surreptitiously closed down in the wake of the marriage brouhaha.

Another Bobrisky? See How this Young Man Appeared at the Lagos Fashion Week (Photos)

The trend of cross-dressing in Nigeria is fast becoming infectious as pioneers like Derenle Edun and Bobrisky continue to consciously and unconsciously promote the trend.

The young man in question

Fashion dignitaries were stunned at the recent Lagos fashion and design week 2016 when this unnamed man under the guise of cross-dressing made this gayish public appearance.

Social media users questioned his sickly stature and homos*xual appearance which has been traced to an inspiration from a 'celebutante'named Bobrisky.

There is the fear the s*xuality of more Nigerian youths could be altered as long as Bobrisky, Denrele and others are promoted on social media and blog sites.

The Presidency won’t interfere with the arrest of Goodluck Jonathan – Vice President

On Saturday, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, assured Nigerians that the Federal Government would not interfere in the work of security and anti-corruption agencies if they decided to move against former President Goodluck Jonathan.

The Vice President who said the current administration did not believe in arbitrary arrests, explained that the agencies of government were being empowered to do their jobs without undue interference.

The vice president, according to a statement by his spokesman, Mr. Laolu Akande, spoke on Friday in Houston, Texas in the United States at a meeting he had with Nigerians based in the US.

He was said to have answered questions on the economy, the anti-corruption war, the recent arrest of judges and the menace of herdsmen in parts of the country, as well as community policing.

The statement read, “Answering a question from the Internet on when former President Jonathan would be arrested, Osinbajo pointed out that the Buhari administration was not in the business of arresting people anyhow.

“He said all the Buhari administration did was to empower the security agencies and the anti-corruption agencies to do their jobs, without the administration trying to teleguide (monitor) them,”

He said, “Corruption is not an ethnic thing, there is an equal representation in the stealing as no one operates with his or her ethnic group alone, the culprits are in every case seen so far, united by greed to steal and not by ethnic or religious interest.”

He said, “The President has given firm instructions to the security agencies to arrest not only herdsmen, who are attacking communities anywhere in the country, but anyone of them or anyone at all in possession of firearms.

“There are about 800 of suspected violent herdsmen in the country who are currently in custody,” he said.

Top 15 Nigerian Celebrity Baby Daddies Revealed.

The practice of celebrities welcoming babies outside the confines of marriage is not a new phenomenon in entertainment circles across the world.

Popular singer, Flavour and his two daughters from two beauty queens

Many Nigerian celebrities, who many youth regard as role models, are choosing to go the single parenthood route and proudly so. Not only are they rewriting the narrative, they proudly flaunt their children on social media.

In this light, a list of top 15 Nigerian musicians who are baby daddies has been revealed.

(1) 2Baba

One of Nigeria’s living music legends, Innocent Idibia, who recently rebranded to 2baba, tops our list of Nigerian celebrities who are baby daddies. Although he is legally married to actress Annie Macaulay, not a few will forget the women and children in his life in a hurry. Annie bore him two daughters, while Pero Adeniyi and Sunmbo Ajaba also bore him kids. Per, based in the United States, has three children for the singer just as Sunmbo who married Pastor Olatunde Adeoye of Royalty Christian Centre, Lagos in 2013, also bore him two sons.

(2) Flavour N’abania

Born Chinedu Okoli, he is clearly the biggest music export from the eastern part of Nigerian. Famed for his music exploits within and outside the shores of Nigeria, his on-again-off-again relationships with two ex-beauty queens, Anna Banner and Okagbue, is legendary. Interestingly both women who have a daughter each for the afro-pop star do not see eye to eye. In a recent tell-it-all interview with an online portal, Banner revealed that she has parted ways with Flavour. She also denied having prior knowledge of the singer’s affair with Sandra before birthing a baby for him.

(3) Wizkid

At 26, superstar singer, Wizkid, has attained enviable heights in his career. From his humble beginnings hustling on the streets of Ojuelegba, Lagos, he now shares the international stage with international icons, Chris Brown and Rihanna. Nonetheless, one area this talented musician isn’t lagging behind is romance. A father-of-two, he welcomed a son, Boluwatife, with his then teenage girlfriend, Oluwanishola Ogudugu, five years ago when he was just 21. Early this year, a U.S.-based Guinean, Binta Diamond Diallo, was delivered of a son for the singer. Interestingly his second son who bears a striking resemblance with the boyish-looking singer was named Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, Jr after him.

(4) Kay Switch

Singer, Kehinde Oladotun Oyebanjo is popularly known by his stage name, ‘Kayswitch D’Produkt. Also D’banj’s younger brother, he occupies the number four position on our list. He welcomed a daughter with his Liberian girlfriend, Meenakshi Monica Subramani, in 2014. He named her Kalyami ‘Rain’ Oluwaseunara. A few months after her birth, the pair was enmeshed in a controversy after a popular blogger alleged that he locked her out of his Lekki home when she demanded to see their seven month old. The singer debunked the claims by posting an image of his girlfriend cradling their daughter. Very little or nothing has been heard about the couple ever since.olamide

(5) Olamide

Fondly called ‘Baddo’, Olamide Adedeji aka Olamide joined the growing list of Nigerian celebrity daddies when his long-term girlfriend, Aisha Suleiman, bore him a son in 2015. A crowd-puller, Olamide pulled out all the stops when he staged a grand naming ceremony for his son. The well-attended ceremony was graced by the then Governor of Lagos State, Babatunde Fashola. Although the singer was rumoured as having welcomed a second child recently, he has yet to make an official statement. The pair held a low-key secret introduction two years ago and is yet to make it official.

(6) Oritsefemi

Oritsefemi Majemite Ekele aka Oritsefemi’s claim to fame was the release of his re-make of Fela Kuti’s ‘Double Wahala’ song in 2013.The Ajegunle-bred singer, who started his career as a member of a two-man band, The Junglist, has a fiancé and has two daughter who are between 12 and 11 years with two different women.

Not a stranger to controversy, when he parted ways with Blessing Rawa, his lover of five years, it made tabloid headlines. Although Oritsefemi has hinted that he has no plans to
marry any of the mothers of his daughters, he piqued the curiosity of fans early this year, when he posted a picture of his mixed raced model, Maureen Marie-France Mallet, on Instagram.

(7) Terry G

The saying that the more eccentric the artist, the more talented holds true as far as singer cum producer, Terry G, is concerned.
A native of Benue State, the 30-year-old singer, real name Gabriel Amanyi, is a proud single dad. His girlfriend, Mimi Omoregbe, birthed a son in 2012. Despite repeated pressure from fans for him to tie the knot, Terry G appears to be taking things easy.

(8) 9ice

One of the greatest lyricists that Nigeria has ever known, Abolore Akande aka 9ice is also a strong contender on our list. Previously married to Toni Payne, the union, which produced a son, Zion, fell apart like a stack of badly packed cards in 2010. The 36-year-old singer who attributed the loss of his voice on the absence of “good equipment” in the country has since gone on to bring forth four kids from three baby mamas. As it stands, it’s unclear if he has secretly tied the knots with the mother of his fourth child, Olasunkanmi Ajala, who he currently lives with. The singer had also welcomed twin daughters from a short-lived romance with Abuja based Vicky Godis, a sibling of popular OAP, Oreka Godis.

(9) May D

Talented Nigerian singer cum dancer, Mayokun Awodumila aka May D, broke into the Nigerian music scene via P-Square’s ‘Square Records’. A father-of-one, Olamipoju, given birth to by his then girlfriend, Debola, in 2013. The pair had a messy breakup in 2015 and it was well documented in the media. Debola accused the talented singer of alleged domestic violence. A few weeks after, May D began flaunting his relationship with Swedish Carolina Wassmuth on social media.

(10) Ice Prince

A lover of exotic rides, top rapper, Pansak Zamani aka Ice Prince, is a father to a handsome son, Jamal. The singer welcomed his son with his then 20-year-old baby-mama, Bimbo Babatunde, in 2012. Extremely private about his young son, Ice Prince, is currently neck-deep in a relationship with a French-Ghanaian, Maima Nkewa.

(11) Seun Kuti

Seun, the son of Afrobeat legend, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, is also not left out in the trend. He bore a daughter, Ifafunmike, with his dancer-turned-girlfriend, Yetunde Ademiluyi, in 2013. Exactly two days after reports emerged that Wizkid had a second child, Seun was alleged as having fathered another baby with a mystery lady named Adaeze. Seun has since debunked the claims and chose the silent route.

(12) Timaya

Dancehall act, Enetimi Alfred Odom aka Timaya, became a dad when his girlfriend Barbara bore him a daughter in 2012. The pair also welcomed a second child together, a girl, in 2015.

(13) Davido

In his very eventful career, Davido has been romantically linked to some of the finest women in the land. He welcomed a daughter, with Sophie Momodu, who is the cousin of media mogul, Dele Momodu, in 2015. A highly controversial pair, their short-lived affair was laced with accusations and counter accusations that bother around infidelity and drug abuse. Speaking in an interview in Lagos, Davido remarked that he doesn’t think he is ready for a relationship at the moment.

(14) SolidStar

Popular singer, SolidStar, real names Joshua Iniyezo, is one of the latest entrants into the growing list of Nigerian celebrity baby daddies. The dreadlocks-spotting singer recently welcomed a child with a mystery UK-based lover. He recently squashed paternity rumours by posting a copy of his baby’s DNA test result on Instagram, which confirmed him as the father.

(15) D’Prince

Mavins Records’ act, D’Prince, and his Cameroonian girlfriend, Inorie Fotso, welcomed a son in 2015, three years after they began dating. The 26-year-old singer confirmed the birth of his son with an Instagram post which read, “There comes a time when a boy has to become a MAN. The love of my life just gave me a bouncing baby boy. To God be the glory. Now I feel my life has a purpose. To live for my boy.”

How I Escaped From Boko Haram Because I Was HIV Positive_Woman Narrates.

A woman who escaped from the horrific jaws of the deadly Boko Haram sect, has opened up on how she was freed.

Aishat Maiangu Ali, a 30-year-old mother-of-six, has recalled how she lied to five commanders of the Boko Haram sect who came to pay her dowry after they killed her children and her husband in a raid on Gwoza town two years ago.

According to DailyPost, she revealed that she told them she was HIV positive.

“On that fateful Friday when they captured Gwoza, many people were killed, including my husband. Many women hid their husbands under their roofs, but when the insurgents got to know, they started shooting sporadically and many were killed. Hundreds of men voluntarily joined the sect when they discovered that they could not escape the onslaught,”Aishat told DailyTrust.

She continued, “I have six children, but four were killed, along with my husband. The insurgents thereafter named Gwoza their caliphate. I suffered unexplainable depression in the hands of Boko Haram insurgents. I can’t remember everything, but I know that many young women suffered as sex slaves. At a point, they took us to Mubi and Michika towns. They also moved us to a border village between Cameroon and Nigeria for several months before that Thursday when the army recaptured Gwoza. We never knew that we would see people again.

“After a month, things got worse as there was no food to eat. They told people that they would give them food and beautiful houses if they were ready to marry them. It was then that women and girls started marrying them in exchange for food.

“One Amir Abu came to my house and requested to marry me, but I refused because he was amongst those who killed my husband. I also felt that I didn’t need their food, house and other things because I did not know where they came from. Also, for them to be killing innocent people simply didn’t follow the rule of their so-called Sharia law, so I hated them. It was scarcity of food that led many young girls and women to marry them. I used to grind maize and millet for them because I had a grinding machine.

“When they kept coming to me for marriage, I lied that I was HIV positive. After a week, another Amir came, insisting that I marry him, but I lied to him again. So they arrested and put me in a separate room in their prison. After three days without water and food, they allowed me to go back home. So many women wondered why I didn’t marry them. I always told everyone that came to me that I knew I was HIV positive and didn’t want to destroy people’s lives.

“The pressure was too much for me as another Amir came. Again, I was arrested and kept in a room when the fifth Amir Isma’il requested I should marry him, but I refused and told him the same story. He started beating me. Despite this, I didn’t change my stance. They insisted that I should tell them the truth, but I said that was my health status,’’ she said.

The widow, who said she was shocked when they told her to take them to her father, explained: “I took them to my father and he told them that I had been sick before my husband and children were killed. He said he was aware of my health status. That was how I escaped the marriage proposals of the five Boko Haram Amirs in Gwoza.”

Your Boss Can Make You Physically Sick!

And, it is more than your boss. It can be anyone who fills you with negativity.

Last year, I was at a conference where Deepak Chopra was a keynote speaker.

First, let me say I was skeptical I would learn anything at his presentation.

Second, after he spoke, I learned everything.

I learned why your boss, or anyone, can make you sick. Physically sick. For example, why do we have a physical response when a person is mean to us? Why do we have a feeling like we were punched in the gut when a boss ignores us?

Why do we feel good and energized when a boss says good job – or just says “I appreciate you?”

Or, why did House Speaker, Paul Ryan say that he was “sickened” by Donald Trump’s lewd Access Hollywood comments caught on tape. Could Ryan have really felt sick?

The answer is yes. And as Chopra noted, it can be explained by the definition of a nocebo response and placebo response.

A nocebo (Latin for “I shall harm”) is an inert substance, or form of therapy that creates harmful effects in a patient. The nocebo effect is "a detrimental effect on health produced by psychological or psychosomatic factors such as negative expectations of treatment or prognosis."

Conversely, a placebo is an inert or inactive substance, or form of therapy that creates a beneficial response to a patient. The beneficial response is called the placebo effect.

Both nocebo and placebo effects are presumed to be psychogenic, rather than being caused by a biologically active component of the placebo. These reactions might result from a patient’s expectations and perceptions of how the substance will affect them.

As an aside, there was a recent interesting segment on CBS Sunday Morning about the effectiveness of placebos.

So, these affects play out in our interactions with each other. We are all connected.  We often hear that someone has a negative experience and hear people say, “that was a bitter pill to swallow.” While it was really not a pill, the negative affects can be biological.

Chopra noted that placebo and nocebo responses are biological. As he said, this is consciousness affecting biology. Your brain essentially affects how you feel.

And in life, how you feel, and how those around you make you feel -- matters.

And if people “make you feel awful enough, long enough” -- well, it can make you sick.

coward boss who puts you down, can make your stomach churn, or she/he can drive you to tears, to violence, to anger. That boss can zap the life out of you.

It is all consciousness affecting your biological state.

So, we must all be conscious of how we treat and interact with each other. And, if a boss is making you sick – leave as soon as you can. And, if you leave, do it with kindness – no matter how hard that might be.

Chopra noted in two sentences, how we are all connected to each other, to nature, and to the universe. He said:

“You are just a drop in the ocean. You are the ocean in the drop.”

Trump booted a black man from his rally and called him a ‘thug.’ Turns out he is a supporter.

Trump booted a black man from his rally and called him a ‘thug.’ Turns out he is a supporter.

Midway into his speech, the crowd suddenly grew restless, so Donald Trump paused.

An increasing number of people began pointing at a person to Trump's right. Soon, hundreds of people who had gathered for his Wednesday evening campaign rally in Kinston, N.C., were frantically waving their “Trump Pence” signs in that direction.

Trump glanced at who his supporters were singling out: A black man wearing a suit jacket and sunglasses.

“That's all right, leave him alone,” Trump said, at first seemed dismissive of what he saw.

He quickly pivoted.

“We have a protester,” Trump declared. The crowd booed.

“By the way, were you paid $1,500 to be a thug?” he said, seemingly addressing both the crowd and the person simultaneously. “Where's the protester? Where is he? Was he paid?”

(Trump has accused Clinton's campaign of paying protesters to disrupt his rallies after an online video sting by the conservative group Project Veritas Action captured a Democratic operative describing “conflict engagement in the lines at Trump rallies.” The Washington Post's Fact Checker noted that Trump had “jumbled up a lot of the issues brought up in the video by Project Veritas” and rated the claim “Three Pinocchios.")

Somewhere in the crowd, Trump's security detail escorted a man out of the rally as the audience cheered.

“You can get him out,” Trump said, making a sideways motion with his thumb. “Get him out.”

[I was a Donald Trump supporter. Then I got booted from his rally.]

The person in question turned out to be C.J. Cary, a North Carolina resident, who claims to be a longtime Trump supporter.

Cary, in a phone interview Saturday with The Washington Post, said he had gone to the rally because he wanted to hand-deliver a note to the Republican presidential nominee. He made his way to about 20 to 30 feet from the stage and was shouting “Donald!” while waving his note around to try to catch his attention.

“Everyone else is waving Trump signs and I'm waving this white letter,” Cary, 63, said. He said that, coupled with the fact that he was wearing sunglasses during an evening rally to deal with his sensitivity to light, may have been what set people off.

That's when Trump's crowd turned on him, and Cary was removed from.

Cary said a security official noticed he appeared to be a supporter but said he should not have disrupted the rally.

“He asked me, 'What happened? You have on a GOP badge,'" Cary said. “I said, 'I'm yelling at Donald, and he thinks I'm a protester.'”

Cary explained that he had wanted to hand Trump a note, and the security official agreed to deliver the letter on Cary's behalf, he said.

"'If you had just gotten this to us we would have given it to him,'" Cary said he was told. "'But now that people think you're a protester, it's better that you leave.'”

In video footage, Cary can be seen waving to the crowd as he is escorted out of the rally. He later said it was “all fine” and that he still plans on voting for Trump.

Cary has not heard back officially from the Trump campaign but says at least one Trump surrogate in Georgia reached out to him after the incident.

“I was a little sad [that I was escorted out] but was more happy than sad because my purpose for being there was to give that document to Donald,” Cary said. “My mission was to make sure I got it in the right hands, because someone could have just easily tossed it or dropped it.”

The note Cary wanted to deliver was an eight-page document that emphasized that he was against both Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton and President Obama: “I have to get ready to come to Kinston,” it read in part. “Donald I am not including everything. But you must defeat lying Hillary and lying Obama. These characters are bad really bad.”

Cary says he is a Marine veteran and Trump campaign volunteer, and he claims to have been corresponding with Trump since 1992. That year he wrote Donald and Ivana Trump “an impassioned letter” upon hearing they were separating. To his surprise, he says, Donald Trump wrote back, and he has been an ardent supporter of his ever since.

According to a report in the Rocky Mount Telegram, Cary has struggled with vandalism or theft of the more than 40 Trump signs he kept on his home in North Carolina town about 60 miles northeast of Raleigh.

Cary told The Post that he now has about 100 signs on his yard.

“I support Trump because he's honest,” Cary told the Telegram. “You can work with an honest person and convince them their vision isn't in the best interest of everyone. You can't work with dishonest people. That's why I don't like Obama — the worst president in American history.”

[Trump supporter charged after sucker-punching protester at North Carolina rally]

It was not the first time a Trump supporter has been ousted from one of his rallies. In August, Jake Anantha, a half-Indian student at Central Piedmont Community College, attended a Trump rally in Charlotte

“And what happened there shook my faith,” Anantha wrote in a guest column for The Post afterward. Security officials told Anantha that he was a “known protester,” and despite evidence to the contrary, insisted that he must leave.

“I still don’t know why I was asked to leave. But I think it has something to do with my race,” Anantha wrote. “My mother is white and my father is Indian. When [Trump's head of security Eddie] Deck saw me, I wonder whether he noticed that I look different from most Trump supporters. I wonder whether he assumed that I couldn’t possibly support Trump because of how I look.”

From the start of his campaign, Trump frequently has been accused of being racist, perhaps most notably because of his years-long refusal to acknowledge that Obama was born in the United States.

Trump and his surrogates deny allegations that he is racist. Most recently, former New York mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani defended Trump on MSNBC by saying that “to call anyone a racist is outrageous” and noting that Trump has golf partners of different races.

“Racist? The last thing in the world Donald Trump is is a racist,” Giuliani told “MSNBC Live” anchor Stephanie Ruhle. “I’ve known him for 28 years. The man likes white people. He likes black people. He likes Hispanic people. He plays golf with them.”

How Wizkid _Linda Ikeji's Rivary Played Out.

This year, star singer, Wizkid and popular blogger, Linda Ikeji, literally set the online space on fire when they went for each other’s jugulars after Linda published a story about Wizkid’s alleged second baby mama, Guinean-born Binta Diamond Diallo. Wizkid, who was incensed at Linda’s audacity for reporting the story which he wanted to keep under wraps, came for her with guns blazing. He was also ‘mad’ at her because she had published other unpalatable stories about him, like when he was allegedly given a quit notice on the Lekki house he initially claimed he bought. Among the invectives he poured at her, Wizkid stated that he has achieved far more than Linda ever did at the age of 25. He also told her that she is ‘just a blogger,’ and all the money she has wouldn’t change that. He also ‘cursed’ her that she would remain married to her laptop for life. At the height of the social media war, Linda also replied Wizkid, calling him a child, and claiming that she had never met him, and bore no grudges against him. She eventually reported him to the police authorities for threatening her life, and the police commissioner then got involved and urged them to live in peace afterwards. Linda & Wizkid Based on the history between the two achievers, many found it interesting that they were both nominated for the Personality of the Year at the 2016 MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMA). They were nominated alongside Caster Semenya, Pearl Thusi, and Pierre Emerick Aubameyang. It was indeed an epic battle between the personalities involved, as they all had legions of fans rooting for them. However, both Wizkid and Linda lost out, as athlete, Caster Semenya walked away with the trophy. Beyond the personality award though, Wizkid emerged the man of the night as he picked three other awards: Best Male, Best Collaboration (which he won alongside South Africa’s DJ Maphorisa and DJ Buckz), and Artiste of the Year. Wizkid’s achievements on the night, coupled with the giant international strides he has recorded this year, has led many to conclude that the 26-year-old ‘Baba Nla’ singer did know what he was saying when he declared himself a bigger achiever than Linda. But will this put paid to the silent rivalry between the singer and blogger? Only time will tell. Meanwhile, other winners of the night inlclude Yemi Alade (Best Female), Sauti Sol (Best Group), Tekno (Best Breakthrough Act), Cassper Nyovest (Best Live Act), Serge Beynaud (Best Francophone), C4 Pedro (Best Lusophone), Shekinah and Kyle Deustche (Best Pop/Alternative), Emtee (Best Hip Hop), Drake (Best International), Hugh Masekela (Legend Award), Youssoupha (Video of the Year), Patoranking (Song of the Year), Jah Prayzah (Listener’s Choice), among others.

The released Chibok girls were never sexually molested – NAN

Not even a single girl out of the 21 released Chibok schoolgirls was sexually assaulted during the two years spent in the Boko Haram captivity.

Quoting a source close to negotiations to free the remaining of those abducted in April 2014, NAN dismissed reports that the only girl who came back with a child was impregnated by an insurgent.

The agency said the girl was pregnant before her abduction.

“The girl and her parents have confirmed this. The child is not a Boko Haram Child,” the source reportedly said.

“None of the girls released was sexually harassed or abused while in captivity by their abductors.

“The current state of the girls is a source of joy as they are receiving the best medical, psychological and other forms of support from the authorities as directed by the federal government.

“All groups including the families, The Bring Back Our Girls (BBOG) and Chibok Community are happy with their condition as medical experts work to address their health conditions.

“The girls have been visited by members of International Committee of the Red Cross, which played a great role in getting the girls freed.

“It is obvious to everyone that having been in captivity, the girls were traumatised but since their release, they are showing signs of recovery.”

Speculative reports about the state of the freed captives, are said to be creating stumbling blocks to further talks with the insurgents.

The insurgents were said to be angry with government for breaching some understanding reached with them when the 21 girls were being handed over on October 13.
